Woo!! Ohio State beat Iowa (in a really hard fought game) and are now on their way to the Rose Bowl. We still have one game left in the season, but lol it doesn't matter if we win or lose to Michigan. We're still going to the Rose Bowl.
But we will beat Michigan. ;)

HELP SAVE HUDSON SQUARE
My family and I live on the lower west side of Manhattan, in a neighborhood developers coined "Hudson Square." I guess they thought it sounded better than "West Soho," "North Tribeca," or "Lower Greenwich Village." In any event, "Hudson Square" is what urban planners call a "transitional neighborhood." We moved here after the city rezoned the area -- which is the last official step in a transition; after that, developers build, residents move in and small businesses follow. In the last 40 years, New Yorkers have transformed the lower west side of Manhattan from an industrial wasteland into a diverse and livable community.

I waited around for roughly two hours, there was absolutely no action at all. I was the only person there, and there was surprisingly no paparazzi. I asked some of the employees if Jake was in fact there, they told me he was, so I kept waiting. As previously stated, about two hours into my wait, I saw Jake. He left out the side entrance. I yelled to him if I could get a quick picture with him. He replied, “Sorry man, going to lunch.” I then said, “Please I’ve been waiting for hours.” He then replied, “Yeah, and I’ve been working for hours. It’s a rough life.” He then got in car, and stared at me, and smiled through his window as he pulled away. At first I was kind of shocked, because I felt he was being rude for no reason. I realized later that he was kidding with me, but that’s beside point.
Yeah I'm becoming less and less of a fan of Jake. Read this encounter yourself to see how rude he can be. He works long hours (call the wambulance!) BUT gets paid millions AND is not working months at a time between films. Long hours Jake? Try working a regular salary 8am-5pm five days a week, with only one or two weeks vacation the entire year. If Jake didn't take the picture with the guy (b/c he didn't have to), he could have said politely that he really has to leave and can't take the photo. It was uncalled for to say, "Yeah I've been working for hours. Rough life." What an A-Hole!
Even if he was joking, that was a stupid thing to say and do. What a jerk. The guy waited for Jake to come back from lunch, but if Jake was joking what if the guy left after Jake rudely blew him off? That would have been horrible.
Please work on your manners Jake, because you'll lose fans faster than you can blink. There's no reason to be rude to someone who wasn't rude in the first place, no matter how many hours you've been working in the day. You don't have to pose for pictures, but at least be respectful.

Nick Swisher has been a great addition to the New York Yankees. He knows how to lighten the mood on the team, but get down to business and perform on the field.
What makes it even better is that Nick is a Buckeye. :) :)
O-H-I-O!
(A fan at this game yelled "O-H" to Nick and he did the "O-H-I-O" cheer that Buckeye fans do.)
He is a really good hitter, but even more I can't count how many amazing catches he has made in right field. Go Nick!
- Awesome 15-Min Ab Exercise

I found this 15-minute ab exercise on YouTube the other day. Most workouts are recommended to last 15 to 20 minutes. I do this when I wake up in the morning and it really works. You can't flatten your abs just by doing ab exercises alone because you can't "spot" train, but these exercises help strengthen my abs and lower back. This workout, along with other exercise and a healthy lifestyle will really help keep a person in great shape.
The girl on the video is very informative on demonstrating how to do the ab movements. I highly recommend this video. It doesn't take long at all to do this once a day. You'll feel better every time. :)
